Ontario Fishing & Trout Ponds also known as Wilmer Trout Ponds located 1 KM north of the town of Durham, on the west side of the road. Look for the PUBLIC FISHING SIGN.
Bait and fly-fishing welcome with ponds stocked with naturally fed brook, brown and rainbow trout, large-mouth bass. Separate ponds for each type of fishing.
No Season, No limit, No fishing license required.
At the moment we offer 2 ponds with rainbow trout, 2 ponds with mostly speckled and rainbow, 1 pond with rainbow and large-mouth bass, and 1 pond with just large-mouth bass. You still might find some brown trout in some of these ponds as well. THE TROUT ARE NOT PELLET FED!
This is a family facility aimed at providing a fun-filled fishing day for everyone.

If you are looking for somewhere to go to teach someone to fish, this is the place. Good sized trout and bass. The owners are very courteous and look after their guests. Also great for the experienced angler wanting to try out new techniques.
